This June 13th to 15th, teams of top women sailors from across the U.S., Bermuda and Canada will gather to compete in the Sinclair Women’s Championship at Darien’s Noroton Yacht Club. Inaugurated by Noroton YC in 2023 and named for Susan Widmann Sinclair, a legendary sailor and lifelong member of the Club, the invitational Championship occurs biennially and celebrates the Club’s rich history in advancing women in sailing. It is considered one of North America’s elite level women’s keelboat championships. Spectators can view the races on the water from their personal boats off of Long Neck Point in Darien.
